Grease by the trigger, bolts by the battery

A tractor and its implements carry grease fittings by the dozen, and a baler or a mower deck wants them fed before every day of work. The Bluebow grease gun kit is built for that count: 12,000 PSI at the trigger to clear a plug of hardened grease, 5.3 or 7.05 ounces per minute of flow, a 39.4 inch hose to reach the pivot behind a wheel, and two 4.0 Ah batteries so one charges while the other works. The air bleeder valve clears the pocket of air after a refill, which is what stops a gun from spitting at the first fitting.

The impact wrench joins the kit for the bolts that seize over a winter: implement pins, wheel rims, hitch hardware. The 900 and 960 ft-lbs tiers are the ones for old iron. Both tools are vibrating tools, and NIOSH's advice applies to a day of them: grip lightly, let the tool do the work, keep your hands warm, and take a ten-minute break after each hour.

How many fittings can you grease before the Bluebow kit needs a charge?

The kit ships with two 4.0 Ah batteries; run one and charge the other and a tractor and its implements are fed without stopping for the charger.

Will the Bluebow impact wrench loosen a rusted implement pin?

The 900 and 960 ft-lbs tiers are the ones for pins and rims that have seized over a winter. Soak the thread first, grip lightly and let the hammer do the work.
