About this tool
The same magnetic driver, in boxes from twelve pieces to eighty-six
Every driver in this set is a 1/4 inch hex shank with a deep socket at the end and a magnet in the socket. Drop it into an impact driver, a drill chuck or a bit holder, press it onto the hex head and the magnet holds the screw or the nut while you reach behind an appliance or up into a gutter. The shanks are heat-treated chrome vanadium steel, laser-marked with the size, and the sockets have thicker walls than a screwdriver bit, and that is the reason they live on an impact driver without rounding off.
Pick the box by what you already own. The 12-piece holds the drivers, SAE from 1/4 to 9/16 inch and metric from 6 to 14 mm, in a small case. The 21-piece adds a bit holder, socket adapters and a quick-release extension. The 54 and 80-piece boxes bring S2 steel driver bits, adapters for 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch drive, extensions, a universal socket and a wing nut driver, with a manganese phosphate coating on the drivers. The 86-piece goes further: 48, 65 and 80 mm deep drivers, a 17 mm open-end socket, 25 and 50 mm bits, ball-head adapters, 75 and 150 mm extension bars, a 1/4 inch ratchet wrench, a 200 mm flexible shaft and an angle driver, in a carry case with every slot marked.
The Magnetic Impact Nut Driver Set is the only tool we keep on the nut driver sets shelf of the Bluebow favorites for now, and our other shelves hold the rest of what we make.
Magnet in every socket
The nut or the screw stays in the driver overhead and behind a panel, where a dropped fastener is gone for good.
1/4 inch hex shank
Fits an impact driver, a drill chuck, a bit holder and the quick-change chucks of electric screwdrivers.
Cr-V drivers, S2 bits
Heat-treated chrome vanadium steel in the drivers, and the bits in the larger sets are S2 steel, and the drivers carry a manganese phosphate coating from the 54-piece up.

Before you start
A nut driver on an impact driver throws chips when it skips off a rusted hex head. OSHA's eye and face protection rule asks for eye protection with side shields wherever particles can fly, and for protection that fits over prescription glasses without moving them.

Which Bluebow nut driver box gives you the wing nut driver?
The 54, 80 and 86-piece boxes. The 12 and 21-piece hold the drivers, with a bit holder, socket adapters and an extension in the 21.
