The dust is the job, and the hose is the tool for it

If you have ever sanded a ceiling, you know why this set exists. Sanding joint compound is the part of a renovation nobody wants: the dust is fine, it carries talc, calcite, mica, gypsum and silica, and NIOSH measured sanders at up to ten times the OSHA limit for total dust. The Bluebow drywall sander puts a hose at the head and a 1000 W motor behind it, with nine speeds from 800 to 2,100 rpm, a 360° pivoting head on a pole that extends from 4.9 to 6.2 feet, and lighting under the head for the ceiling. Thirty sheets from 80 to 240 grit come in the bag, and the replacement discs on the same shelf keep it running.

The electric cutter belongs to the same week of work: it cuts carpet, underlay, vinyl and the cardboard everything arrived in, up to a quarter inch thick, on a USB-C charge. Wear the goggles and the mask the sander ships with, and read our notes on dust before the first ceiling.

Questions

Drywall and renovation: what people ask

Does the Bluebow sander come with sandpaper?

Thirty sheets in the bag: four each of 80, 100, 120, 150, 180 and 240 grit plus six non-porous sheets. The replacement discs on the drywall shelf keep it going after that.

Do you still need a mask with the Bluebow dust collection?

Yes. The hose takes the dust at the head, and the sander ships with goggles, earplugs and a mask because fine compound dust still reaches the air of the room.
