About this tool
The sheets that keep the sander cutting
Sanding discs are the consumable of a drywall sander: a sheet loads with compound dust, stops cutting and starts polishing, and the fix is a fresh one. These are the hook-and-loop discs for the head of the Bluebow drywall sander, the same size and hole pattern as the sheets the sander ships with, so the dust holes line up with the extraction ports.
Keep a few grits on hand. Coarse sheets flatten a ridge of compound, fine sheets finish a skim coat before primer, and a sheet that has gone shiny belongs in the bin, not back on the head. Change them with the sander unplugged.
Compare the Drywall Sander Discs with the 1 other tool on the drywall sanders shelf, all part of the Bluebow basics.
Hook-and-loop backing
The disc presses onto the head and pulls off without tools, so a grit change takes seconds.
Made for the Bluebow head
The same diameter and hole pattern as the sheets in the sander bag, so the dust holes line up with the ports.
Before you start
Drywall dust is fine and carries talc, mica, gypsum and silica. NIOSH measured sanders at up to ten times the OSHA limit for total dust; run the hose to a vacuum or the bag, wear the goggles and the mask, and keep the room ventilated.
