About this tool
Two eight-inch cups, a gauge on each, and 880 pounds between them

A sheet of glass or a slab of polished stone has nothing to hold, and these cups give it a handle. Set the 8 inch pad on a clean, smooth surface, press the valve on top to pump the air out, and the pad seals. The built-in gauge shows whether the vacuum is holding before you commit your back to the lift. Each cup is rated for 440 lb on its own, 880 lb as a pair, on glass, glazed tile, marble, stainless and polished metal.
They come as a pair in a carry case, and a pair is how most sheets want to be lifted: one cup near each end, two people, the gauge checked on both. The triple-lip seal is there to slow a leak, not to cure a bad surface. Textured stone, raw wood and dusty tile let air under the pad and the gauge will tell you so. Wipe the surface, inspect the pad, and keep the sheet well under the rating.
The suction cups shelf holds 1 more tool beside the 8" Suction Cup Lifters, 2-Pack, and every one belongs to the Bluebow lineup.
Pressure gauge on each cup
The needle shows the vacuum before the lift and warns when it bleeds down, instead of the pad letting go first.
440 lb each, 880 lb as a pair
Ratings on a clean, smooth, non-porous surface. Weigh the sheet and stay well under them.
Hand pump, no battery
Press the top valve to pump down, lift the tab to release. Nothing to charge, nothing to run flat on a site.
Before you start
A load rating is a figure on a clean, smooth, non-porous surface. Inspect the pad for nicks before the first lift, wipe the surface, weigh the sheet and keep well under the rating; the vacuum lifting guidance we read says a cup should fail only above twice its safe working load, and that porous or loose material has dropped loads.
Questions
About the Bluebow 8" Suction Cup Lifters, 2-Pack
How do you release a Bluebow suction cup?
Lift the release tab on the cup and the air comes back under the pad. Set the sheet on blocks first so it is supported when the cup lets go.
