A grease gun you squeeze with one finger, not two hands

The Bluebow grease gun kit is a 21 V cordless gun with two 4.0 Ah batteries, a charger and a 39.4 inch flexible hose, all in a carrying case. The pump develops up to 12,000 PSI, which is the figure that matters on a fitting that has not seen grease since last season: the pressure clears the hardened plug so fresh grease can follow. The two kits in the range differ in flow, 5.3 and 7.05 ounces per minute, and in color, blue and teal.

The air bleeder valve is the small part you will use most. A gun that has just been loaded carries air pockets, and the bleeder lets them out before the first fitting, so the grease flows steadily instead of spitting. The flexible hose reaches pivot pins under a bucket and fittings behind a tire, and the LED under the head lights the fitting you are aiming at.

Treat 12,000 PSI with respect. Hand surgeons who study injection injuries report that it takes about 100 PSI to breach skin and that most high-pressure guns reach 2,000 to 12,000 PSI; the wound looks like nothing and the damage is underneath. Keep your free hand away from the coupler while the trigger is down, and read our grease gun guide before the first job.

Flow and pressure are the figures each kit states for itself. The air bleeder valve is named by the teal kit.

Questions

About Bluebow cordless grease gun kits

How much pressure will your Bluebow grease gun develop?

Up to 12,000 PSI at the coupler, which is the pressure that clears a fitting plugged with hardened grease. The grease gun guide explains when the pressure is doing the work and when a fitting needs replacing instead.

Should you pick the blue or the teal Bluebow kit?

Flow. The blue kit moves 7.05 ounces of grease a minute, the teal 5.3. Both develop 12,000 PSI, carry a 39.4 inch flexible hose and ship with two 4.0 Ah batteries and a charger in a case.

How do you bleed the air out of a Bluebow grease gun?

After a refill, open the air bleeder valve named on the teal kit, pull the trigger until grease shows at the valve without bubbles, close it and go to the first fitting. The routine is written out in the grease gun guide.

Can the Bluebow grease gun injure your hand?

Any grease gun at these pressures can. Hand surgeons report that about 100 PSI breaches skin and that injection injuries look like nothing until hours later. Keep your free hand clear of the coupler and never check a leak with a finger; the grease gun guide has the sources.
